Tutored Wine Tastings
Our Wine Merchants, Justin Nugent Vintners tell the story behind the wine growers, and factors that contribute to the taste of each bottle.
Offered as an interactive tutored tasting followed by a networking reception, or wine matching over dinner with our Head Chef’s carefully crafted menu.

Cocktails with Mix & Match
We have teamed up with Mix & Match to provide a premium cocktail service to rival the world’s best cocktail bars, supporting our in-house Food & Beverage operations.
Options include:
- FLAMBOYANT COCKTAIL SERVICE to suit your event’s theme, such as “Best of British”, “Pimp My G&T”, “World of Whisky” and much more. Smoke-filled bubbles, dry ice displays, colour-changing cocktails, flair bartenders and branded garnishes. Mix and Match bring the weird, the wonderful, and the downright extravagant.
- MASTERCLASSES teach groups of up to 150 guests how to create their own cocktails in an engaging and entertaining format. Perfect for building team camaraderie or simply as an experiential treat, all infused with a sense of theatre and irreverent fun.
- SPIRITS & BEER TASTINGS provide an educational slant as guests discover their unique palate, and learn to decipher flavour profiles from a flight of premium whisky, gin, IPA or whatever their heart desires.

The Grocers’ Company supports - amongst others - Oundle School, located 1-hour by train out of the City.
Oundle School has a long and proud tradition of being at the forefront of STEM teaching and learning. With state-of-the-art facilities, Oundle’s SciTec can now offer great team building workshops such as “Build and Test a Rocket Car”.
Themed Evenings
Fun and exciting ways that previous clients have enhanced their dinners and drinks reception have ranged from Oompah Bands, Casinos with 'fun money', and Murder Mysteries.
