In December 2014, new EU legislation on Food Allergens came into force which was further adopted in the UK law as the Food Information Regulations commonly known as FIR.
These brought big changes to the way that establishments are legally required to provide allergy information on the food they produce and serve.
There are 14 food allergens that are recognised by the Food Standards Agency (FSA). Please note that our food production areas are not nut-free environments.
Clients are politely requested to inform, prior to the event, the Banqueting & Events Manager of any known dietary requirements their guests may have.
A comprehensive list of all dishes on the menu and their particular ingredients are held on our in-house database.
Key members of staff have been trained in Allergen Awareness to a recognised level.
